The Summerschool is organized within the Chrisgas Project with the contribution of the UE.
Description of content
the R&D context of the 2° generation biofuels will be addressed. A focus on the development of fuel production via the gasification routes (CHRISGAS Project) and its integration within bio refinery or small scale fuel production will be treated.

The post graduate students are the main target together with academics and people from industry looking for innovations in the fields of feul production. English.
General information
The summmerschool will be devoted at understanding the main challenges in the development of the second generation biofuels with a special focus on fuel production on biomass gassificaiton and with achievements and lesson learned within the CHRISGAS project (VI FP). The context, the feedstock and the new technologies for second generation biofuel production will be also addressed and described together with the possible integration among fuel platfroms and chemicals production. Credits and evaluation
3 ECTS A final test will be used as evaluation procedure
